Do you avoid eating nuts because you think they are bad for your waistline of high in fat? Well, we have a great reason for you to start enjoying nuts again; researchers have found that eating just 20 grams of nuts a day can lower your risk of getting heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.
Researchers found a ‘consistent reduction in risk’ for several diseases, which showed a really strong, positive relationship between eating nuts and different health outcomes. “It’s quite a substantial effect for such a small amount of food,” said experts.
Don’t overdo it, though; eating more than 20 grams of nuts won’t make more of an improvement.
